Jalebi is popular sweet in the countries of South Asia. It is prepared by deep frying the maida flour or wheat flour batter in the circular shapes or pretzel, which is then soaked in the syrup of sugar. Jalebi is also known by another name Zulbia and is considered as a very popular sweet in the countries of West Asia, South Asia, East Africa and North Africa. This delicious sweet can be served both hot and cold. It has a little chewy texture along with a crystallized sugary exterior coating.
